  8. Jul 11,  · The song has been around since at least and I think I have one of the earlier versions on a Cajun/Zydeco compilation CD. Other versions may be similar and it's possible that Paul heard one of them, but it would be nice to believe it was the Sir Douglas version that inspired him.
