  1. His ‘N’ Hers really captures the pop essence of Pulp, everything here is catchy (OK, maybe Someone Like The Moon does not quite match the rest) and songs such as Babies, Do You Remember The First Time? and (personal favourite and album magnum opus) She’s A Lady rank with just about anything the band ever did/5(86).
  2. Someone Like the Moon Lyrics: She likes to watch the moon / As it travels through the sky / 'Cos she's heard it's romantic / Though she really can't see why / Someone should have helped her.
  3. May 29,  · His ‘n’ Hers is the fourth studio album by Pulp and was the first to be released on a major label. It was originally released in and together with its follow-up Different Class, it is one of the highlights of 90’s ‘Britpop’.
  4. She likes to watch the moon As it travels through the sky Because she's heard it's romantic Though she really can't see why. Someone should have helped her through the day Someone like the moon So she drinks a cup of coffee And telephones a friend And she asks if she can make it So this night never ends And someone should have helped her.

  6. Pulp, much like Suede, are one of the forgotten members of the Britpop big four of the mid 90s. Much like Suede as well, the group deliver a fantastic glitz, but unlike Suede Pulp have a much more 80s inspired sound. There is something to this that sounds inspired by an act like The Cure, but their far brighter moments like Friday I’m In Love.
  7. In retrospect His n Hers was really just a set-up for the massive Different Class, but even when taken out of the context of the britpop scene and without regard for Pulp's musical progression the album stands alone quite well. Ignore the fact that every one of their songs could be replaced, both lyrical and musically with each other.
